| Rapids |
A few easy rapids from Northland down to Wolf River landing. The next stretch has many class I rapids down to J. J to Big Falls has a few class I-II drops, and the Dells, which is a class II. Downstream from Big Falls are a couple of Class I-II drops and then mostly flatwater to Manawa. Below the Manawa dam you'll find many easy rockgardens, but only one real class I rapids. |

Road crossings are fairly frequent. Wolf River Landing is well marked. There is also a landing on the Big Falls Flowage. |

Manawa has a grocery store, and bait is available at the Standard station. |

There are private campgrounds near Royalton.and County X. |

There are B & B's and motels in Iola and Manawa. |
| Favorite Stretch |
Hwy BB to Royalton. Good fishing, one easy rapids, some flatwater, and the North branch of the Little Wolf make this a great 4-5 hour paddle. Get there early in the summer to avoid bangers. |
