Biking

Whether you want to cruise a secluded bike trail, ride a quiet country road, or dice with urban traffic, nothing beats a bike for exercise and fun.

A bike ride provides an aerobic workout with minimum stress to your joints and works most of the muscle groups in your body. A ride can also give you a chance to see, hear, and smell things you wouldn't notice if zipping by in a car.

The Upper Midwest is a biking paradise in summer. Wisconsin's excellent secondary road system and extensive bike trails provide an infinite number of scenic excursions you can take.

Eventually, we will document every bike trail in the Upper Midwest, just as we have done with the rivers in the area. For now, you'll find some articles related to biking. We hope to be expanding this section considerably over the summer, so please check back in often.
